Fugitive Comedy

Upcoming Events

You may notice our considerably reduced offerings for a bit.

Fugitive started with an idea, $300, and a website in late 2015. Since then, we’ve produced 400-plus shows and sold more than 30,000 tickets in Boston’s western ’burbs. The new ownership at Sanctuary in Maynard — where we’ve been booking the majority of our events since 2020 — is now able to fulfill the role that Fugitive historically played.

Please stay tuned and continue to follow Fugitive — via our eblasts, website, and social posts — while we explore new possibilities and opportunities.

Fugitive Comedy

  • Sanctuary 82 Main Street Maynard, MA 01754 (map)

Fugitive Comedy hosts some of the best and brightest comics working in the Boston area and nationally. The comedians who have joined us have appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Last Comic Standing, America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central, The Jim Jeffries Show, Comedy Bang! Bang! Live! Podcast, NPR’s Commonwealth Journal, Lifetime’s Girls Night Out — and have opened for numerous well-known comedians in clubs around the nation.

Chris Tabb
You might recognize Chris from his appearances on TV shows like NESN Comedy All Stars, BET's ComicView, and even The Food Network's Cake Challenge. He has performed Bill Bellamy, Jim Breuer, Mo'Nique, D.L. Hugley, and Jim Norton. You can also catch Chris on Amazon Prime as the voice of “DJ Mike” in the highly rated film, “Against The Jab.” Currently, Chris hosts The Comedy Scene comedy club, located at Patriot Place, the iconic home of Gillette Stadium.

Maya Manion
Maya was born in Vermont but moved to Rhode Island for show biz. She was featured on Nick at Night’s “Funniest Mom in America” and recently placed runner up in Mohegan Sun's Funniest Comic in New England. She entertains all over New England, making hundreds of dollars a year. Maya only travels as far as she can drive in one night — because no one will watch her kids for longer.

Jack Burke
A Boston-based comic, Jack Burke has rapidly emerged as a young, fresh voice of New England’s storied comedy circuit. He charms comics and audience members alike with his confessional style and irreverent takes on sobriety, intimacy, and family life. He is a staple of independently produced shows and clubs like the “Don’t Tell” and “Next Stop Comedy.” Jack’s made terrible mistakes everywhere from Portland, ME to Jamaica that will make you laugh and feel grateful you’re not related to him.

Host: Amy Tee
Amy brings her boyish charm and dry wit to the stage with a storytelling style that shifts between stereotypes and reality. She delivers comedy with stigma-busting honesty. Identified by the Boston Globe as a comedian to watch, and in Curve magazine as one of the “funniest lesbians in America,” Amy toured nationally and was a featured comedian in the film, “Laughing Matters — The Next Generation.”
