Fugitive started with an idea, $300, and a website in late 2015. Since then, we’ve produced 400-plus shows and sold more than 30,000 tickets in Boston’s western ’burbs. You may have noticed fewer offerings recently as we have reduced our programming at Sanctuary in Maynard. But there’s lots to come.
What’s Next? music and comedy in Lawrence!
Fugitive is thrilled to announce our collaboration with Rapscallion at their new location in beautiful, downtown Lawrence. Situated in a former mill building, this newest addition to the Rapscallion family of brew pubs offers a barroom, a staged performance space, and in good weather, a generous outdoor seating area. In addition to Rapscallion’s crafted beers, there will be handmade pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and more.
We’re looking forward to hosting events in partnership with our neighbors, two nonprofits — Essex Art Center and Acting Out! Theater Company. We plan to program events a couple of times a week — no cover, informal, just a nice hang — in addition to hosting occasional ticketed events — comedy, theater, music, and more. We’ll be posting our premiere events in the very near future!

Fugitive Productions brings music, comedy, and storytelling to Boston’s ‘burbs. Our monthly comedy and swing dance events continue at Sanctuary in Maynard. And, of course, Fugitive Stories — our Moth-style storytelling events — will be returning to Old Frog Pond Farm in Harvard for its fourth annual series. We’re currently in conversation with several venues to discuss additional music, comedy, and storytelling series.
